AS A GRAPHIC DESIGNER / DTP SPECIALIST:
I'm cooperating with many indie developers and board game publishers in Europe, Canada and USA. My recent projects that I can talk about (but they are not in my portfolio yet) are: Secret Recipe (DTP and layout designs), Ada's Dream (History Book design), Unnatural Horrors (logo design), Mischief (DTP and graphic design), DNA: The New Origin of Species (DTP, layout design, logo design, etc.) and board game localizations for the German market.
AS AN UI DESIGNER
I have 8 years of experience in gamedev as UI/UX designer and Graphic Artist. I have experience in working in mobile games, but also on PC and consoles (racing, VR game). I can implement UI into the game engine (I'd need to refresh my skills in Unity, but I was working in Unreal and Roblox Studio). I'm proficient in Adobe suit.
SKILLS
I’m skilled in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Acrobat) - but I can also work in Affinity apps (Photo, Designer, Publisher), I can draw (vector, raster, traditional, storyboards, illustrations) and design iconography. I have 16 years of experience in graphic design for print and digital. More about my skill are here:
I’m currently working for a publishing house on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I'm available on Mondays, Fridays and weekends for other projects. Most of my projects are at the very end of the development process, so I can start working right away.
I usually work on an hourly rate basis. At the beginning of the collaboration I prefer to prepare weekly invoices - for a month or two, to see if we are a good match and everything goes smoothly. And after that, I prepare monthly invoices unless the other party wants to stay with the previous arrangements. It's up to you.
If you are interested in cooperation on a part time basis we can decide on a fixed monthly salary.
I’m open for project base work too for smaller commissions which are easier to predict. My quotation is based on the time estimation I think the project can take. I’m also open to less common arrangements for example a fixed amount of hours to be sure I won’t exceed the budget or whatever works for you. I always deliver print ready and editable files when the cooperation is finished.
I have my own company and can provide the invoice. I’m operating in 3 currencies: USD, EUR and PLN.
If there’s a need for extra help, I’m cooperating with two great graphic artists who are experienced in graphic design, preparing for print, UI/UX, illustration and more. I fully trust them to deliver the highest quality work. I also check if everything is fine with the files myself.
